Have you dreamed of turning your homemade food products into a business? Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is hosting a free Cottage Law Workshop on Tuesday, November 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Mill, 818 W. Sheridan Avenue in Shenandoah. Food Business Specialist Penny Brown Huber will discuss Iowa's cottage food laws, product labeling requirements, and grant opportunities for small food processors. Optional 30-minute individual business consultations are also available from 2:00 to 5:00 pm for $10. The workshop is free, but preregistration is required by November 3rd.
