SCIA Annual Meeting and Ag Banquet
SCIA Annual Meeting & Ag Banquet Featuring Chip Flory
The Shenandoah Chamber & Industry Association invites the public to attend the 2026 Annual Meeting & Ag Banquet on Wednesday, July 15th, at the Shenandoah Elks Lodge. This annual event brings together agricultural producers, agribusiness professionals, business leaders, and community members to recognize the vital role agriculture plays in the success of southwest Iowa.
This year's banquet will feature nationally recognized agricultural broadcaster Chip Flory, host of AgriTalk Radio and Editor Emeritus of Pro Farmer. With decades of experience covering agricultural markets, policy, and industry trends, Flory is widely regarded as one of the most trusted voices in agriculture. His presentation will offer valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing today's agricultural industry.
The evening will also include presentation of the Ag Future of America (AFA) Scholarship to Nora Martin, a 2026 graduate of Shenandoah High School who plans to pursue a degree in agriculture. In addition, the Friend of Ag Award will be presented to recognize an individual or organization that has made a significant impact on agriculture and the local agricultural community.
Agriculture's influence extends far beyond the farm gate, touching local businesses, schools, healthcare, transportation, manufacturing, and countless other sectors of the economy. The Ag Banquet provides an opportunity to learn more about the issues affecting agriculture and better understand the role it plays in the continued success of our region.
